Ingredients for Chocolate Cake in Pressure Cooker:
½ cup plus 6 tbsps. All-purpose flour
1 cup caster sugar or granulated
6 tbsp. cocoa powder
½ tsp salt
½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp instant coffee (optional)
½ cup milk full fat
½ cup hot water
¼ cup veg or canola oil
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract/essence
To assemble:
Chocolate frosting
Sugar syrup
Method:
1.Remove weight and filter from the lid of pressure cooker.
2.Place the pressure cooker on stove top, add 1 cup of salt, place some steel bowl or heat proof pot, cover and preheat on medium flame for 5 minutes. Then turn the flame on low.
3.In a bowl, sift together, flour, cocoa, salt, baking soda and baking powder. Mix to combine.
4.Heat ½ cup of water in microwave for 40 seconds, add coffee and stir to dissolve. Set this aside.
5.Into the dry ingredients, add egg, milk, vanilla extract and hot coffee water. Beat on slow speed for 1 minute or until everything is well combined.
6.Pour this mixture into a greased and lined pan. Tap to remove air bubbles.
7.Carefully place this batter into pressure cooker.
8.Cover and bake on medium flame for 5 minutes.
9.Then bake for 35-40 minutes on low flame.
10.After 35 minutes insert toothpick if comes out clean cake is done. If it is not done bake 10-15 more.
11.After 5 minutes, remove the cake from the pressure cooker, and let it stand for about 10 minutes to cool.
12.Frost it with chocolate frosting.
13.Enjoy. Good Luck!
NOTES:
For electric stove bake for 50-60 minutes on low flame.
For gas stove bake for 30-35 minutes on low flame.

Prawns, rich in various nutrients like, Proteins, Vitamin B, Omega 3 fatty acids are one of the widely loved seafood after fishes. These get cooked faster and hence can be used to prepare various treats from appetizers to curries in just minutes.

Seafood of any kind is an absolute favorite of mine that too dishes with prawn/shrimp tops my list. I wished i lived close to sea coast.. 😥 whenever i see a board for seafood market never ever had second thoughts but to stop by to see what they really have to offer. Lately I’ve been going to this Asian store which has been selling so many seafood varieties some fresh, some frozen… has been my fav spot… they have tiny shrimps, dry shrimps, jumbo medium sized shrimp, even Indian style prawns are available.

A wide variety of small crustaceans, tiny relatives of the lobster, are known as prawns. Prawns are normally translucent when raw but get their distinctive pink or red colour on being cooked. one word of caution if buying unpeeled prawns, smell for freshness and look for bright, shiny shells that have some spring left in them.

Spicy prawn masala is an amazing coastal delicacy that delights any non-vegetarian seafood fan. The prawn curry is spicy, tangy and palate pleasing.

The tropical Indian signature food, prawn masala is made with stewing the prawns. You can make it at home as well by following some easy steps. Prawn is the main ingredient so you will need fresh prawns for it. Next you can make it just like any Indian spicy curry by blending it with herbs and spice mix in a pan and it will be ready in no time.

It is mostly relished with rice or roti

Ingredients - How to make Prawn Masala Recipe

*My 1 tbsp Oil = 50 ml or (One Ladle = 50 ml)

* 35-40 Medium Prawns shelled & deveined
* 1/2 tsp Garam Masala Powder
* 1 Piece of mango pickle or 1 large Tomato
* 15 Garlic cloves
* 4 to 5 Red chilli
* 3 to 4 Green chilli
* 1 medium size sliced Onions
* 3 tsp Ground Coriander (Dhania Powder)
* Salt to Taste
* 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
* 1 medium size sliced Onions
* Less than 1/2 tsp Ajwain (Carom Seeds)
* Pinch of Kalonji (Mangrela) Black Seeds
* Ginger roughly chopped 1 inch

Ingredients

(2) Cornish Hens
1 Medium Potato, chopped
2 Medium Carrots, chopped
1 Small Onion, chopped
1 Stalk Celery, chopped
1 Tbs Vegetable Oil
2 Tbs Butter
4 Tbs Cornstarch
2-1/2 Cups Chicken Broth
1/4 Cups Apple Cider Vinegar
2 Chicken Flavor Bouillon Cubes
2 Tsp Italian Seasoning
2 Tsp Paprika
1-1/2 Tsp Garlic Powder
1-1/2 Tsp Onion Powder
1 Tsp Salt
1 Tsp Black Pepper

Instructions

1. Rinse hens with salt and water. Remove package of giblets from cavity and any excess fat.

2. Chop your vegetables into small size pieces.

3. Combine butter and oil, then melt in microwave. Afterwards, add vinegar, then stir in well.

4. Combine broth and cornstarch, then stir in well. This is what's going to create a nice gravy for our hens. This step is optional though... you don't have to add the slurry for gravy. If you decide not to make a gravy with this dish, just add a 1/3 cup of broth to the baking dish.

5. Preheat oven to 350 degrees

6. Add chopped vegetables, giblets, and bouillon cubes to baking dish.

7. Add cornish hens to the bed of vegetables.

8. Rub the melted butter mixture and seasonings onto each side of the hens. You can use margarine by the way if that's all you have but butter is recommended.

9. Pour the slurry into the baking dish.

10. Place in oven and bake until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees. Stick thermometer into thickest part of the hens to test doneness. Make sure the thermometer doesn't touch the bone in the hens to get an accurate reading. I always let my hens cook for 2 hours though.

11. Base the hens 1 to 2 times during cooking time. Basing the hens just helps to brown the skin and give it that nice golden brown color. Enjoy!

Salt as for taste
Oil - 1 to 2 tbsp
Preparation:
1.Take a pressure cooker and boil the eggs for 2 vessels.
2. Pierce them randomly with a knife.
3. Take a small bowl add a pinch of turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder & jeera powder mix well.
4. Take a pan and add one and a half table spoon of oil. Once oil is heated add boiled eggs and mix it perfectly. Cover the lid and fry it for 2 minutes.
5. Open the lid and stir it.Once the eggs are turned into brown color add salt, prepared masala mixture and fry it for 2 minutes.
6. Boiled Egg Fry is ready. Serve this recipe with rice,chapati (or) roti.
