INGREDIENTS⬇
▬▬▬▬▬▬
❖› 1½ lbs or 675g diced pork
❖› 1 dessertspoon vegetable oil
❖› 1 onion peeled and chopped
❖› 6 mushrooms peeled and sliced
❖› 1 teaspoon curry powder
❖› pinch of salt if desired
❖› ½ teaspoon pepper
❖› 1oz or 50g flour
❖› 1 tin tomatoes
❖› pinch of mixed herbs
❖› 2 carrots, chopped
❖› 1 parsnip, chopped
❖› ½ pt or 275ml of homemade vegetable stock (page 22) or 1 low‑salt vegetable stock cube dissolved in ½ pt or 275ml of warm water

Method
------------
✔1. Pre‑heat the oven to 160°C or 325°F or Gas Mark 3.
✔2. Remove stalks and seeds from the green pepper and chop finely.
✔. Heat the oil and fry the onion, green pepper and mushrooms for ✔3 minutes. Transfer them to a casserole dish.
✔4. Add the curry powder, salt and pepper to the flour, and coat the pork in this mixture.
✔5. Fry the coated pork for 5 minutes and then put into the casserole dish. Add tomatoes, carrots, parsnip, herbs and vegetable stock.
✔6. Cover tightly and cook in the pre‑heated oven for 1½ hours.

A popular recipe of paneer from the restaurant menu which you must try ! Spicy and yummy.

PANEER JALFREZI

Ingredients

250 grams cottage cheese (paneer), cut into 1 inch fingers
1½ tablespoons oil
1 teaspoon cumin seeds (jeera)
1 large onion, finely chopped
1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
½ teaspoon turmeric powder
1½ teaspoons red chilli powder
Salt to taste
1 large tomato, finely chopped
1 teaspoon coriander powder
¼ cup tomato puree
1-2 dried red chillies
1 inch ginger, cut into thin strips
1 green chilli, finely chopped
1 medium onion, sliced
1 medium tomato, deseeded and sliced
1 medium green capsicum, cut into strips
1 tablespoon tomato ketchup
½ teaspoon garam masala powder
2 teaspoons chopped fresh coriander leaves
Fresh mint sprig for garnishing

Method

1. To prepare onion-tomato masala, heat 1 tablespoon oil in a non-stick pan. Add ½ teaspoon cumin seeds and sauté till it changes colour. Add finely chopped onions and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
2. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for 1 minute. Add turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon chilli powder, salt, finely chopped tomato, coriander powder and tomato puree, mix and cook on medium high heat till the oil separates. Transfer in a bowl.
3. Heat remaining oil in the same non-stick pan. Add remaining cumin seeds and when it changes colour, add dried red chillies, ¾ of ginger strips and green chilli and sauté for 30 seconds.
4. Add sliced onion and sauté for 1 minute. Add sliced tomato, toss and cook for 1 minute. Add capsicum strips, toss and cook for 1 minute.
5. Add onion-tomato masala, tomato ketchup, salt, remaining chilli powder and garam masala powder and mix well.
6. Add cottage cheese fingers and toss. Add coriander leaves and toss well.
7. Serve hot garnished with remaining ginger strips and mint sprig.

SLOW COOKER CHICKEN THIGH RECIPE

Ingredients

4 Chicken Thighs, bone in skin on
1 Tablespoon Oil
8 Carrots
6 Medium sized Potatoes
1 Lemon
2 Garlic Cloves
½ Teaspoon Dried Thyme
Salt + Pepper

Instructions

Season the chicken thighs on both sides with salt and pepper.
Optional - Heat the oil in a fry pan over high heat. Cook the chicken thighs on both sides for 2-3 minutes until they develop a good colour. Remove the chicken from the frypan and place skin side up into the bottom of a slow cooker.
Cut the carrots in half if you are not using baby carrots and place in slow cooker.
Quarter the potatoes and place into the slow cooker with the chicken and carrots.
Juice the lemon into a small bowl. Crush the two garlic cloves into the bowl along with the thyme and season with salt and pepper. Mix.
Pour the marinade over the chicken, carrots and potatoes and place the lid on the slow cooker.
Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4. Serve

Bread Recipes for kids:

Easy Bread Recipe Ingredients:

Boiled and Mashed Potatoes - 2
Turmeric - 1/2 tbsp
Chilly powder - 1 tbsp
Coriander Powder - 1 tbsp
Garam Masala - 1/4 tbsp
Dry Mango Powder - 1/2 tbsp
Green Chilly - 3
Frozen Green peas - 5 tbsp
White bread slices - 6

How to Make Easy Bread Recipes for Kids:-

1. Burn Oil for 2 to 4 Mins
2. Once the Oil is hot, Add Jeera.
3. Add Boiled and Mashed Potatoes
4. Add turmeric, Chilly powder, Garam Masala and Dry Mango Powder
5. Add salt and mix well for 2 minutes
6. Add coriender leaves and Green chilly
7. Mix well.. Than turn off the heat and let it cool down
8. Take out the edges of the bread slices.... and roll the bread like a flat bread
9. In the same way roll all the breads.
10. Put the potato mixture on the bread.
11. Close the edges with the help of water.
12. When the Oil is hot deep fry them.

The easiest paste ever! Yo will love it..
I was as well a little suspicious before I try it out but since it is both practical and delicious I got used to making pasta in this way.

2 tbsp olive oil
1 bulb of garlic
1 dessert spoon tomato paste
8 tbsp tomato purée
1 tsp basil
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
1 tsp salt
250g Fusilli
Warm water just enough to cover the pasta
Parmesan
Black pepper
Fresh onion
