Spicy gravy Puli kuzhambu for hot steamed rice is delicious mouth watering one.We can keep it for more than 2 days, which will be very helpful for us in some urgent circumstances.This spicy gravy will be in heavenly taste with soft utthappam too.

INGREDIENTS

Tamarind - Lemon sized (tightly packed)
(Soaked in 500 ml water .Crush it & filter)
Shallots ( Small Onion) - 1 Cup
Garlic pods - 1/2 Cup
Sambar powder - 1 Tsp
Coriander powder - 2 Tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 Tsp
Chili powder - 1 Tsp
Jaggery powder - 1 Tsp (Optional)
Salt - To taste

SEASONING

Sesame Oil - 50 ml
Mustard seeds - 1/2 Tsp
Fenugreek seeds - 1/2 Tsp
Cumin seeds - 1 Tsp
Curry leaves - 2 Springs
